Final go-ahead for huge Plymouth city centre student flats scheme

Now the project – headed by Plymouth’s Trathen Properties and Shropshire-based J-Ross Developments Ltd – has been given official approval. Trathen Properties is the company understood to be behind a proposed redevelopment of Colin Campbell Court. It is hoped work could be finished next September

One block will be 11 storeys high and the other 14 storeys on land behind the Plymouth Athenaeum and Reel Cinema, at the junction of the Crescent and Notte Street. There will also be three ground-floor retail units
